Classes are special skills in which the beings of Ivalice specialize in. By doing these classes, it makes it easier for one to join a stronger clan, or even perform missions better. But only a select few species can do a job, though. However, there are a select few (Staff and M.O.M. only, sorry) that can do cross classes. Basically, a Hume could be a Fusilier while a moogle could be a soldier. Remember, only Staff and M.O.M. can do that.
Hume Classes
Soldier - Soldiers employ the arts of war to weaken and slow opponents.
White Mage - White mages use curing magicks to mend allies' wounds and restore them to health.
Black Mage - Black Mages wield the elemental powers of fire, ice, and lightning to decimate foes.
